Pandora

I recently ran across a really cool flash webpage. It is so simple that the first time I looked at it i missed how cool it is. Pandora is a flash app that suggests new songs and artists based on your favorite music using the Music Genome Project. It differs from other music sites because its primary goal is not to sell you popular music, it is really to give music that will match to your music interests at a really deep level. It even explains how it is choosing music for you based on your favorite artist or song. In addition you can download Open Pandora a windows only open source program that will put the app in your desktop so you dont even have to visit the website. Its really a new way to listen new music.

A new generation of supersonic private jets could trigger a boom in luxury high-speed flight — without the sonic boom normally associated with breaking the sound barrier.

Lockheed Martin’s advanced Skunk Works unit is designing a small, 12-seat passenger jet that would travel at 1,200 mph (Mach 1.8) but which would produce only a whisper of the annoying crack once emitted by the retired Concorde.
